 The 8th Street Dance Company is a performance group designed to give more serious dancers additional dance experiences and performance opportunities. must achieve an accomplished level of study and performance skills to be eligible. Participation requires dancers to be proficient in at least one of the following forms of dance; Ballet, Jazz, or Tap.
Auditions will be Saturday, August 23rd. Audition times are as follows:
- 8-10 year olds - 1:00-2:00 PM
- 11-13 year olds - 2:00-3:30 PM
- 14 and up - 3:30-5:00 PM.
There will be a parent meeting each day, August 19th, 20th, and 21st at 5:30 PM. Anyone whose child is interested in trying out for The 8th Street Dance Company is strongly encouraged to attend one of the parent meetings. The parent meetings are at the same time as The 8th Street Dance Company prep classes. The prep classes are optional. Click Here to register for the prep classes.
If your child is planning to audition for the performing company please wait to purchase new shoes as specific styles will be required.
